Charity Coffee Morning a Success
Kind-hearted students from City of Wolverhampton College hosted a coffee morning in aid of charity this June.
Pre-voc and Business students worked together to organise the event to raise money for Promise Dreams, a charity dedicated to helping seriously and terminally ill children turn a very special wish into reality.
Staff and students popped in to enjoy a hot drink and nibble and try their luck in the raffle.
The students raised more than £270 on the day. Money raised will go towards buying a specially adapted bike for Ben, a seven-year-old suffering from cerebral palsy who dreams of going for bike rides with his family.
Pre-voc Tutor Bea Pope said: “We always get a lot of support for our coffee mornings and this one was no different, with our samosas selling out in record time!”
