Recruitment Event A Success
Scottish Motor Auctions (SMA) Ltd approached City of Wolverhampton College’s Employability Team for help recruiting for their new centre in Wolverhampton.
The vehicle remarketing company was looking to fill around 55 vacancies at their new site in Bilston, with positions ranging from administrators and clerks to paint sprayers and yard operatives.
The Employability team worked with SMA to host three information sessions at their Wellington Road Campus, where jobseekers could find out about the jobs and undergo a short interview.
Over two days the college organised six information sessions, with 191 people attending. Branch Manager Nigel Binks said he was delighted with the turnout.
He added: “The college provided a professional venue with excellent services.
“Very helpful staff, together with a great turnout made this a successful exercise and we will be moving forward with several successful applicants immediately.”
