Clothing retailers Next were looking to recruit staff for a new store opening at Bentley Bridge in Wednesfield and approached the Employability Team for help.
The company needed to fill 60 to 70 vacancies and required a suitable environment to conduct two days of intensive interviews.
The Employability Team hosted the recruitment event, providing pre-recruitment training, booking interviews, and advertising vacancies, along with general admin support.
Store Manager Jo Farnell said: “The college made us feel very welcome – the staff were very friendly, helpful and professional and supported us throughout the event.
“As a result, the outcome over the two days was incredible and we look forward to working with the college for any other new store openings and seasonal recruitment if needed.”
