Hospitality student Vicky Fletcher
Mum of three Vicky Fletcher worked in the hospitality industry before having her children and, with them now growing up, decided to put her experience to good use and gain a recognised qualification.
Vicky, aged 34, who is studying for the Level 3 diploma in food and beverage service, said: “I went along to an open day to see what courses were available and, after chatting to the hospitality tutors about my past experience and how much I enjoyed it, it all dropped into place and I knew that this was the course for me!
“I love it! I don’t want to stop learning and want to go as far as I can and eventually run my own business. I’m so glad I made the decision to come back to college, I’d been a stay-at-home mum for 15 years and now I feel like I’ve got my identity back!”
