Access to HE student Kayleigh Evans
After working in an administrative role for a number of years after leaving school, 27-year-old Kayleigh Evans decided to pursue her dream of becoming a teacher
After completing the one-year Progression to Access to HE course to improve her maths and English skills last year she has now moved on to an Access to HE (education pathway) course which will give her a recognised qualification and enable her to apply to university.
Kayleigh said:”The course covers the roles and responsibilities of teachers as well as learning and development theories which will be really useful when I’m studying for my degree.
“I’m really enjoying the course and wish I’d done it sooner!”
