Completing an apprenticeship helped 19-year-old Danielle Jones land her first job as an Admissions Administrator.

Danielle, who completed a business course at the college before moving on to a Customer Services apprenticeship, said: “I chose to do an apprenticeship because I was excited about going into work and felt I would gain more experience that way.

“I have really enjoyed it. I have always liked the idea of learning and the fact I was also in paid work was great. It meant I wasn’t sacrificing one for the other.

“I wouldn’t have got the job without my apprenticeship as I already knew the processes and the people. It gave me a lot of confidence for my interview.

“Doing an apprenticeship shows I am employable and that I have the experience employers are looking for.

“I would recommend an apprenticeship to anyone.”
