Community student Andrew Pugh
Painter and decorator Andrew Pugh signed up for the college’s Emergency First Aid at Work course as he felt it would give him some useful work skills.
The 48-year-old, who studied at one of the college’s community locations, said: “I did the course four years ago and my certificate had expired. I decided to renew it as I thought it might come in handy when applying for jobs.
“The skills I have learnt will definitely help me in my work, as I will know what to do if I cut myself with a Stanley knife!
“This course has been really informative and I liked the fact it was all completed in a day as it meant it sank in easily.”
