Community student Cheryl Whitmore
Cheryl Whitmore, aged 22, enrolled on the college’s one day Food Safety and Hygiene course held at Wolverhampton YMCA so she could learn how to keep the house safe and clean for her son.
She said: “I wanted to improve my home life and find out what products to use and how to keep the house clean.
“The course has been very useful – right from the start the tutor was talking about hazards in the kitchen, and I now know some really important skills like how to separate my meats in the fridge.
“The tutor has been great and makes you feel really welcome. It’s been a very relaxed environment in which to study.”
