Employability student Adam Barrs

Adam Barrs signed up for the Lloyds Bank pre-recruitment training programme run by City of Wolverhampton College to help him apply for one of their apprenticeships.

The 20-year-old said: “I had been self employed for the last two years, working in sales, but wanted something a bit more reliable and this programme seemed ideal.

“I already had six months experience working for Lloyds but the course was a great refresher and helped me find out more about the company I was applying to work at.

“This kind of course works. It prepares you for applying for jobs and could potentially lead to a great career.”
