Employability student Natasha Bowdley-Thomas

After getting nowhere with her application for an apprenticeship at Lloyds Bank, Natasha Bowdley-Thomas signed up for their pre-recruitment training programme run by City of Wolverhampton College.

The 20-year-old said: “While on the course I have re-applied for an apprenticeship with the bank and am delighted to have made it through to the telephone interview stage – the course has definitely helped me learn some useful skills which I will be able to use in any future job.

“The tutor has been brilliant and she listens to everyone and treats us all fairly.

“There are so many people out there saying there are no opportunities for them, but this kind of course is there to help you get a job and a lot of people would benefit from doing it.”
