Food and Beverage Service student Karolina Palskyte

Twenty-four-year-old Karolina Palskyte proudly shows off her uniform at the start of evening service at the prestigious Regency Hotel in Florence, where she worked for two weeks as part of the Level 3 diploma in food and beverage service.

Karolina, who got the chance to work in the Italian city as part of the Erasmus+ programme, said: “I worked as a waitress in my home country and was promoted to evening service manager so what I learnt there, combined with what I’ve learnt on my course and also in my job as a waitress at Hamilton’s restaurant, prepared me well for working in the Regency Hotel.”
