Former A Level student Chris Kett
Since completing his A Levels at college 23-year-old Chris Kett, age 23, has worked as a fire fighter and a mentor. He is currently an education support assistant and a volunteer at Wolverhampton’s new youth centre The Way.
Chris said: “I really enjoying volunteering at The Way. I help run activities for children and make sure they have a good time.
“College helped me massively. I got involved with the Students’ Union as President and was also a student governor which helped me build my confidence and get involved with other young people. That experience helped me find my career path and go into youth work. I’m still in contact with the college and go back every now and then to see people.
“In the future I’d like to continue doing youth work – maybe even at the college where it all began!”
