Former Business student Craig Taylor
Since leaving college three years ago former Business student Craig Taylor has been a busy man, combining his university studies with helping to manage an International Summer School and the London ice rinks.
The 22-year-old, who completed his Level 3 BTEC in Business at college, said: “After I finished my course I went on to study Business Management at the University of Westminster. Alongside my studies I supported around 10,000 students who flew from all over the world to come to the UK and improve their English. I was also involved in the management team for the London ice rinks and have worked at large events such as the Rugby World Cup, The Brit Awards, and even the BAFTA’s after parties! “College was a great start to my career. It developed my professional skills, which have helped me get ahead in the business world, and also prepared me for my future studies. “It taught me everything, from carrying out a risk assessment, to how to organise an event for thousands of people. Without coming to college I would have had a lot of catching up to do in the workplace and when applying for a job.”
