Motor Vehicle student Troy Green

Troy Green - MV service & repair L2

Working with cars is the only thing Troy Green has ever wanted to do and so, after doing his A Levels at the college, he signed up straight away for a motor vehicle course

Having completed the entry level qualification, Troy moved on to the full-time Level 2 diploma in motor vehicle service and repair which he studies at the college’s Paget Road campus.

Troy said: “The course is fantastic! It’s all I’ve ever wanted to do so learning more about what I love and am interested in is great!

“People think that the motor vehicle industry is all muck and grease but it’s far wider than that and there are some fantastic career opportunities – I want to work as a diagnostics technician in a large car dealership.

“The workshop here is really well equipped and because it offers a range of services to staff it means I get the chance to work on vehicles for real customers which is great experience and when they say I’ve done a good job it makes me feel great – right now I’m living the dream!”
