Pathways student James Dean
Twenty-year-old James Dean is profoundly deaf and enrolled on a one-year Pathways programme to improve his English skills.
“The course has taught me important skills that will help me to get a job in the future and my confidence has improved too.
“As part of the course I was able to tell others in the class how they can help people with hearing problems by knowing a bit of sign language and understanding their expressions and body language.
“I’d recommend coming to college to anyone – it’s a chance to use what you can do to help yourself improve.”
