Prince’s Trust student Aidan O’Leary
Eighteen-year-old Aidan O’Leary was offered him an apprenticeship in Polymer Processing Operations after completing his Prince’s Trust programme.
Aidan said: “I left school when I was 16 and dossed from job to job, quitting work and just skateboarding. I needed to sort myself out and get a job and some money, so joined the Prince’s Trust programme.
“The course has been really good. I was the laziest person ever and I never got up, never went anywhere and never did anything. The programme has given me a lot of new skills such as time management and organisational skills, as well as helping me become more patient and tolerant of others.
“It felt great to get a job as an apprenticeship. I really enjoy it and it’s worth going in to.
“The Princes Trust programme really can help you, and if you are thinking of doing it then go for it. It has certainly helped me.”
