Moin Hazman - Teaching Assistant

Moin Ramzan came to the college to study for a Level 2 Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools qualification and enjoyed the course so much that he progressed to the Level 3 course.

Moin said: “The course was well structured and the tutor and assessor were really helpful and supportive. The tutor had many years of experience as a Teaching Assistant and taught us how to handle certain situations that may arise in the classroom as well as how to be professional and organised at all times.

“The course allows you to put the skills you have learnt into practice in any setting, whether in a primary or secondary school, and I gained a lot of confidence which will help me in the role of Teaching Assistant in the future.

“I would definitely recommend the course – if you believe that it is something that you are good at and what you want to do then what’s stopping you?

Moin, who is now doing a Foundation Degree in Supporting Children in Primary Education, added: “I never imagined being where I am today – I’ve come so far and feel there is no stopping me now!”
