A Level Law gives an understanding of the role of law in today's society and raises awareness of the rights and responsibilities of individuals.
By learning about legal rules and how and why they apply to real life, A Level Law allows you to develop your analytical ability, decision making, critical thinking and problem-solving skills. All these skills are highly sort after at higher education and by employers.
You will cover a range of elements of law including: the nature of law and the English legal system, private law, public law and legal skills.

There are three 2 hours exams that consist of a combination of multiple choice, short answer and extended writing questions.
After you have successfully completed this course you can progress on to higher education, apprenticeships and employment.
Our A Level department offers a wide range of facilities and classrooms to make sure you enjoy your time with us.
All our classrooms have access to WiFi, projectors and computer facilities, meaning you will benefit from the latest developments in ICT to make learning fun and interactive.
In addition, A level learners have exclusive access to an A level Study Centre based in wvSixth at Paget Road with controlled entry. This centre has more than 20 computers with an area designated as a common room and a specific quiet study area. A hot drinks machine is also available for students.
