Principles of Customer Service TQUK Level 2 Certificate Study Mode: Part-time   |    Course Level: 2

This course is designed for a wide range of learners who wish to understand the approaches to good customer service knowledge.
It is ideal if you are currently working in a customer facing role or looking to get a job in such a role.

You will be able to develop your existing skills in customer service or learn new knowledge skills. Once you have completed the qualification you will be able to apply your knowledge in a variety of industries and job roles.

Please note:

  • The course is funded so there is no cost to you as long as you complete the course
  • You must achieve the set targets and complete the course by the date given on our e-learning platform
  • If you fail to complete the course you will be required to pay £120* and will be required to sign an agreement to this before the start of the course.

*This is not the full cost of the course, but covers administrative costs.

There are no formal entry requirements for this course, however you must be aged 19 or over to enrol.

During this course you will study seven manageable units

  • Principles of customer service and delivery
  • Understand customers
  • Understand employer organisations
  • Understand to communicate with customers
  • Understand how to handle customer information
  • Understand how to resolve problems and deliver customer service to challenging customers
  • Understand how to develop customer relationships

By studying this course you will:

  • Develop an essential knowledge of how to carry out customer service-related tasks
  • Develop good customer service skills and be able to make a good impression on your customers
  • You will develop your knowledge of how to answer any customer queries and resolve any issues with a positive attitude

This is an online assessment-based course and there are no exams. You will be required to complete assessments via an online platform.  Your work will be assessed, and developmental feedback will be given by a tutor with relevant subject area experience.

The skills you will learn from this course will enable you to:

  • Opportunity to progress to Customer Service Practitioner Level 2 Apprenticeship
  • Opportunity to progress to Customer Service Specialist Level 3 Apprenticeship
  • Progress to study other online distance learning courses offered by the college
