Are you keen to learn more about living in a fair and diverse society?
This course will equip students with a detailed understanding of what equality and diversity means and how to promote them, as well as exploring the four British Values and positive equality movements.
This course is ideal for students who wish to increase their awareness and understanding of equality, diversity and inclusion, including key legislation relating to this, such as the Equality Act 2010 and the Equal Pay Act 1970. Learners will also study positive equality events and movements, including gay pride, as well as learning about British Values and how they apply to people living in the UK.

This is an online assessment-based course and there are no exams. You will be required to complete assessments via an online platform. Your work will be assessed, and developmental feedback will be given by a tutor with relevant subject area experience.
The skills you will learn from this course will enable you to pursue a career in health and social care. After you have successfully completed this course you can progress on to study one of our other online courses we have to offer, such as Certificate in the Principles of End of Life Care, Certificate in Principles of Dementia Care or Certificate in Preparing to Work in Adult Social Care.
