Jade at her Workplace

Jade Multani – business apprentice

“I am learning what its like to be in a real business and office environment,” said 21-year-old Jade Multani, an business apprentice at Compton Care in Wolverhampton.

Jade added: “ I have always enjoyed business from when I was at school, and my learning style is to physically do the activity to enable me to process the information, so an apprenticeship was the appropriate route for me.

“I’m learning what is required for business and how to keep organised and manage my time well, as well as how decisions are made and the impacts that they have – all of which will help me develop and progress in the future – and feel that I have matured and gained confidence in myself and the work I produce.”

“As well as getting paid while learning, an apprenticeship is a great way forward as it gives an insight to what life is like beyond school when you go into the ‘real world’ and allows you to mature and develop your character. Employers look for work experience and what better way to gain it!”
