STUDENT ART WORK UNVEILED AT GALLERY

10th June 2019

Talented art students at City of Wolverhampton College will be showing off their finest works at an exhibition at the city’s art gallery.

The end-of-year display, showcasing a range of work by students on University of the Arts London art and design and photography courses, is at Wolverhampton Art Gallery from Friday 14 June until Sunday 30 June.

The exhibition features a range of fine art, textiles, fashion, graphic design, 3D sculpture, jewellery and photography produced by full-time and part-time students for their individual final projects.

Jo Slater, curriculum manager for art and design at the college, said: “The end-of-year exhibition is a fantastic opportunity for students to see their work on display in a real art gallery and for members of the public to see how talented they are.”

The exhibition is free to attend and is open during normal art gallery hours – Mondays to Saturdays 10.30am – 4.30pm and Sundays 11am – 4pm.

The college’s creative arts department was named Training Provider of the Year at the 2019 Creative and Cultural Skills Awards and is currently recruiting for full-time and part-time courses starting in September – apply here or to chat to tutors about the courses call Tel: 01902 836000
