City of Wolverhampton College in top 10% in England for student satisfaction!

Students at City of Wolverhampton College are among the most satisfied in the country, according to a national survey. 

The college is rated in the top 10% of further education providers in Englandand second highest in the West Midlands region, in the results of the FE Choices Learner Satisfaction Survey for 2018/19, released in July.  

The organisation received a score of 88.4for students who would recommend the college to their friends or family, ranking it 17th out of 184 further education providers across the country.    

Students were also asked to rate how satisfied they were with the teaching on their course, the way they were treated by staff, the support they received and how staff responded to their views, as well as whether the course met their expectations and how it was preparing them for what they wanted to do next.  

Louise Fall, assistant principal for student engagement at the college, said: “For us to be raked in the top 10% of further education training providers in the country, and second highest in the region, is yet more fantastic news for the college and a great way to kick off the new academic year!   

“We are committed to ensuring that our tutors provide an excellent standard of teaching, our courses are continually adapted to reflect the needs of employers, and our support staff provide a high level of customer service to ensure that every student has a positive experience and is able to take full advantage of the opportunities that are available to them during their time with us.” 

The annual FE Choices Learner Satisfaction Survey captures learners’ experiences of their college or training organisation across England.
