FESTIVE TREATS FOR SHOPPERS FROM COLLEGE STUDENTS

5th December 2019

Christmas shoppers in the Mander Centre are in for some festive treats courtesy of students from City of Wolverhampton College.

Bakery students will be selling a range of freshly-made mince pies, Christmas cakes, chocolate yule logs and festive biscuits, prepared and cooked in the college’s Academy bakery at the Metro One campus in Bilston Street.

Meanwhile, students studying for early years quaifications will be running Christmas craft sessions where youngsters can make greetings cards, tree decorations and reindeer food.

Both groups will be in the centre, next to Santa’s grotto, on Tuesday 10, Thursday 12, Friday 13 and Tuesday 17 December.  The bakery stall will be open from 9am until 1pm, with the craft sessions running from 9.30am until 3.30pm
