Course for fitness trainers kicks off at City of Wolverhampton College

People wanting to gain a qualification to enable them to work in the health and fitness industry can sign up for a short part-time course at City of Wolverhampton College. 

The college is offering a seven-week Level 2 certificate in fitness instructing which kicks off at the Wellington Road campus, in Bilston, on May 4.  

The course will run from Monday to Wednesday each week and combine practical activity sessions with classroom-based learning to prepare participants for a career in the industry and enable them to plan, deliver and evaluate exercise and training sessions.      

Anyone aged 19 or over and earning less than £25,000 per year may qualify to study the course free of charge, with other financial support available depending on household income.
