FREE COURSES FOR ADULTS ON OFFER AT COLLEGE

Adults who want to boost their employment or promotion prospects by developing new skills can sign-up for free part-time courses at City of Wolverhampton College. 

People aged 19 or over, and earning less than £25,000 per year, can study a range of courses for free, including bakery, beauty therapy, construction, computing, counselling, engineering, fashion, interior design and photography.     

The college offers over 100 part-time qualifications from short courses in areas such as book keeping, first aid and nail technology, as well as year-long courses in engineering, hairdressing, motor vehicle or science. 

Also on offer are part-time programmes for people who want to become teaching assistants and personal trainers, along with access courses for those who want to go to university, and higher education courses including HNDCs, HNDs and foundation degrees. 

People can enrol for courses at the college’s campuses – at Paget Road in Compton, Wellington Road in Bilston and Metro One in the city centre – from Tuesday 27 August until Saturday 7 September.
