Holly Swan, 22, is building a rewarding career as a Beauty Lecturer, thanks to the skills and support gained through her studies at City of Wolverhampton College.
Holly said: “I’ve always been passionate about beauty, so when I had the opportunity to study Beauty Therapy at college, I was really excited. After completing both my Level 2 and Level 3 qualifications, I started thinking about my next steps. With guidance from my tutors and career advice, I realized that I wanted to follow in their footsteps and become a teacher. With the college’s support, I completed my Level 5 Certificate in Higher Education at the University of Wolverhampton, and in September 2024, just a month after graduating, I began my role as a Beauty Lecturer at the college!
“Now in my teaching role, I am focused on inspiring the next generation of beauty professionals. Every day brings new learning opportunities, and I’m committed to developing my teaching skills to help my students achieve their goals.
“City of Wolverhampton College helped me to define my future—from starting as a Level 2 Beauty student to completing my Level 5 Certificate in Education. I’m honoured to now be part of the team that supports students in defining their own careers, just as I did.”
