Lee Simpkiss, who progressed through Levels 2 and 3 in Electric Vehicle Awareness and Repair Maintenance is now thriving in a full-time role with AD Vehicles in Stourbridge, working on both EVs and standard motor cars.
Lee said: “Studying Levels 2 and 3 in Electric Vehicle was an incredibly enriching experience. The tutors’ passion for the subject was evident throughout the course, making the material engaging and the resources easy to use. The course has inspired me to continue developing my skills, and I believe it has given me the foundation for a successful career in the EV industry.”
After excelling in his Level 2 course, Lee was fast-tracked to Level 3 IMI qualification, which he completed with outstanding results. Through an interview arranged by the college with G&P QM Automotive Recruitment Consultants, Lee was selected as a candidate for an upcoming contracted role at the UK EV Battery Plant in Coventry. Following this he secured a full-time position with AD Vehicles, where he’s applying his skills and qualifications to a job he thoroughly enjoys.
