Tastes of the world on menu at college training restaurant

Diners can tuck in to flavours from around the world at a series of themed evenings organised by catering students at City of Wolverhampton College.   

Students studying for diplomas in professional cookery and food and beverage service will be cooking up dishes from Greece, France and Asia in the college’s Academy training restaurant on Thursday evenings until Easter.         

The Greek evening – featuring traditional moussaka and beef stifado, followed by baked figs or baklava – takes place on March 14. 

The menu for the French evening on March 28 includes steak au poivre and tarte au citron, whilst roast duck pancakes and chicken tikka are on the menu at the Asian evening on April 11.  

The themed meals cost £15.00 per head and tables are available from 6.30pm with last orders at 6.45pm.  

The Academy restaurant – at the Metro One campus in the city centre – is also open for lunch on Wednesday s and Thursdays during term time. For reservations call the restaurant on Tel: 01902 821431
