Lorraine Barker
I’m Lorraine Barker and have been a part-time tutor in the business department for three years delivering on the People Management Chartered Institute of Personnel Development (CIPD) Level 5 Associate Diploma programme.
I have a wealth of experience working in the manufacturing sector as a human resources advisor and enjoy teaching on the CIPD programme and sharing my HR knowledge supporting people professionals on their CIPD journey.
Prior to joining the college I worked in a further educational establishment delivering BTEC business, CIPD, Chartered Institute of Legal Executives (CILEX) and administrative courses.
During my spare time I enjoy playing golf in various county competitions. I am currently a member of the ladies’ committee and was elected lady captain in 2006 and 20016.
