We are working in partnership with The West Midlands Combined Authority and City of Wolverhampton Council to deliver a range of programmes in construction plant operation including mini excavator, forward tipping dumper and ride on roller.

Who is this for?
If you are looking for a career in construction particularly in Groundworks or Plant operation then this is the course for you. It is aimed at anyone over 18 years of age looking to develop a new career. You need to be able to commit to 4 to 8 weeks of training, dependant on how you progress, this training will be 5 days per week.

Where can this lead you to?
This is an employment led initiative to support people into jobs and careers in the construction industry. The course will give you the skills and relevant cards you’ll need to begin a career in plant operation. At the end you are guaranteed an interview with a relevant construction employer.

What to do next?
Training programmes run throughout the year. Once you have indicated an interest directly through us, to your Job Centre work coach or via Wolves at Work you will be invited to the next information session. During this session you will be given details of planned training, funding guidance and the potential work outcomes.
