Arjan Ahir is currently studying Level 3 Automotive at City of Wolverhampton College. After progressing through Levels 1 and 2, he has continued building his skills and confidence, particularly in diagnostics and advanced vehicle maintenance.
“This year I’ve been focusing on diagnostic work and recapping everything I learned at Level 2. When I first started, I didn’t know much at all, but now I feel much more confident in my abilities and the work I can do. I’ve learned a lot, and the course has really helped me develop my skills step by step.
“My plan for the future is to move into full‑time work in a garage or dealership so I can keep gaining experience in the industry. The college has supported me with guidance, work‑experience opportunities and the knowledge I need to prepare for employment.
“Studying in the new facilities has made a big difference, they’re much better equipped than the old building and give students access to everything they need to train properly.
“To anyone thinking about studying automotive here, I’d definitely recommend it. This college stands out from others. You get great support, great training, and the chance to really build your skills for the future.”
