Awat Ismaeli joined City of Wolverhampton College to improve his English skills and increase his chances of securing employment. Through his studies, he has developed his confidence in speaking, listening and writing, while also working towards his future ambitions. Awat said:
“Since starting the course, I have improved not only my writing skills but also my speaking and listening. I feel much more confident using English in everyday situations.
“I have really enjoyed learning alongside my classmates and working together in class. The course has been a positive experience, and I would recommend it to anyone who is thinking about improving their English.
“The support I have received has been excellent. My tutor has been very helpful, friendly and kind, which has made learning enjoyable and helped me make progress.
“My goal is to continue developing my skills and hopefully move on to studying IT in the future. I believe the confidence and knowledge I have gained on this course will help me take that next step.
“I would encourage anyone considering an ESOL course to give it a try. It has helped me improve my skills, build my confidence and look forward to future opportunities.”
