Claire Westwood, 23, has successfully completed the Level 3 Creative Practice in Art, Design and Communication course at City of Wolverhampton College and is now looking forward to progressing to university to continue her journey in design. Claire said:
“I chose this course because I’ve always had a passion for art and design. It opened up so many opportunities and options for me, which is why it was such a great choice.
“Throughout the course, I was able to experiment and explore different areas within art and design. I also developed new digital skills, including using Adobe Creative Suite and 3D design software.
“I received incredible support from my tutors, as well as other staff and students. They helped me build my confidence and supported me in becoming the best version of myself while preparing for my next steps.
“I’ve now completed the course and am planning on going to university to study automotive design, with the goal of progressing onto a master’s degree in the future.
“My advice to anyone thinking about this course is to try everything and make the most of every opportunity. Once you find your passion, work hard and stay focused. The tutors will support you every step of the way, and the friends you make will be with you throughout the journey.”
