As Group Head of SHEQ for all nine of Dawson group’s businesses and three subsidiary companies, Daniel Nicholls leads on safety, quality, and compliance across the organisation. To strengthen his expertise and support the development of his team Daniel completed both the Level 3 and NVQ Diploma in Occupational Health & Safety at City of Wolverhampton College. His staff are now undertaking the Level 3 in Occupational Health & Safety Practices. Daniel said: 

“I completed NEBOSH and the NVQ Level 3 many years ago. The level 3 in particular I thoroughly enjoyed and felt it prepared me much better for real‑world health and safety practice, which is why I continue to choose the same course for my staff. 

“I would choose City of Wolverhampton College every time. The training was genuinely first class, far superior to what colleagues elsewhere were experiencing. The support, the detail, and the structure of the lessons were outstanding. All my training took place at the Telford campus with Ken Davis. The continued development of his team through the Level 3 course is already strengthening safety practices across the business, helping staff build the same strong foundations that supported Daniel’s own progression.
