After beginning his studies at the college in 2021 with ESOL Level 1, 21‑year‑old Ismail Eldesouky progressed to the Access to A Levels course and later moved on to study A Levels in Maths, Chemistry and Physics. His time at the college helped him build his academic confidence, understand the UK education system, and pursue his long‑term ambition of studying engineering at university. Ismail said:

“I started with ESOL because I wanted to improve my English. I am very grateful to my teacher who supported me and helped me move on to the Access to A Levels course.”

“As I learned more about the UK education system, I realised that A Levels are a very important qualification because they give you a wide range of university and course options. After completing my Access course, I applied for A Levels to pursue my dream.”

“Before finishing college, I applied to universities and was fortunate to receive five offers. I am now studying Chemical Engineering at University which is what I have always wanted. My plan is to graduate and build a successful career.”

“For anyone coming to study GCSEs or A Levels, you will really enjoy your experience, especially because of the high‑quality teachers. I was lucky to have some amazing teachers; they are excellent at what they do.”
