Shamsullah Mohammedi joined City of Wolverhampton College to improve his English skills and increase his employment opportunities. With ambitions of building a successful future and achieving his dream of becoming a doctor, he has shown great determination and commitment to his learning. Shamsullah said:
“I joined the course because I wanted to improve my English and develop the skills I need to apply for jobs and progress towards my future goals.
“When I first came to the college, I couldn’t read or write, but now I can. The course has helped me improve my literacy skills and given me more confidence in using English every day.
“I have enjoyed being part of the class and learning alongside other students. All of the staff are friendly, and I have a good teacher who has supported me throughout my learning journey.
“I’ve enjoyed the course so much that I would like to have lessons every day. The support and encouragement I’ve received have helped me make real progress.
“My dream is to become a doctor, and I know that improving my English is an important step towards achieving that goal.
“I would encourage anyone wanting to improve their English skills to join a course. With the right support and determination, you can achieve more than you think.”
