Teaching & Education Apprenticeships - City of Wolverhampton College

If you enjoy working with children, are organised and can inspire others to learn, then this apprenticeship could be perfect.

Teaching assistants play a vital role in classrooms by making sure students get the most out of their time at school.
As an apprentice you will earn as you learn, working alongside teachers and carrying out various duties. Areas covered range from supporting children and young people’s health and safety to preparing display boards in schools. You could be supervising arts and crafts activities, helping with outings or reading to the class.

The advanced level apprenticeship adds more responsibility to the role and is a good stepping stone to a foundation degree or higher level teaching assistant training.
