Whether it’s reading a book or an online article, understanding and filling in forms, applying for jobs, helping children with their homework, working out a household budget, or checking your bank balance – having good English and maths skill is essential for every day life.

But if you left school without an English or maths qualification, it’s not too late to learn!  Whether you need to go back to basics and start from the beginning, improve your reading, writing and listening skills, get a better understanding of addition, subtraction, multiplication and division, or build on what you already know and improve your grades, there’s a course suitable for you, whatever your level.

If you’re studying for a full-time course you’ll get the chance to do English and maths alongside your main qualification or, if you want to focus on just English or just maths, we offer a range of part-time day and evening courses to enable you to fit studying around your other work and life commitments.

And studying English and maths at college isn’t like being at school – our tutors make learning interesting, they’ll help and encourage you to reach your full potential and, as your skills and abilities improve, your confidence will too.
