Multiply your opportunities with our free numeracy courses
Multiply is a new free government-funded programme to help adults improve their numeracy skills. Building your confidence in maths may unlock new job opportunities and can support you in everyday life, such as helping the kids with their homework.
If you’re aged 19 and over, don’t have maths GCSE at grade C (or equivalent) and you’re on Universal Credit, you can access free* numeracy courses through Multiply to build your confidence with numbers and gain a qualification.
You’ll get:

- The chance to learn at your own pace with online and face to face tutorials
- Dedicated support to help you plan for your future

After successfully completing this course you can progress onto a Maths Functional Skills (entry 1 to Level 2) course to further develop your maths skills. Functional Skills are alternative qualifications to GCSEs and are nationally recognised qualifications. Find out more about Functional Skills courses.
