Jobs & careers support
Our free support covers everything you need to confidently land your next role, including CV crafting, job searching, and interview preparation. Beyond connecting you with local opportunities and free training courses, we also offer guidance on career planning and budgeting to ensure your long-term success.


Academic support
We offer support with English or maths skills, drop into the ME Hubs at either campus for dedicated support from our expert tutors. Whether you prefer one-to-one guidance, small group work, or simply studying independently with a tutor on hand to answer questions, we are here to help you succeed.


Special Education Needs
The Futures Programme is aimed at young people with inclusion needs and/or an Education Health and Care Plan (EHCP). Courses are tailored to each young person’s individual requirements and aims to enhance their life skills and develop their abilities to help them move towards living as independently as possible.


Additional Learning Support
If you have a learning difficulty, disability or medical condition which means you need some extra help on your course, staff from the additional learning support team will assess your needs and discuss the options available to help you during time at college.


Health and Wellbeing
We offer confidential and non-judgemental emotional support. our staff are trained and will create a safe and welcoming environment where you can talk about your concerns that are affecting your emotional wellbeing.

Pay My Student
PayMyStudent is the online system we use at City of Wolverhampton College to make applying for financial support simple and straightforward.


Age 16-18
Financial support is available to students who face the greatest barriers to entering, continuing and succeeding in Further Education.


Age 19+
For students who are 19-23 and studying their first level 3 or below, or students who are 24 or over and studying level 2 or below.


Financial Support for HE
All full and part-time HNCs, HNDs and Foundation Degrees offered by the college are eligible for funding.


Advanced Learner Loan
Student loans now support many Level 3 and above qualifications, not just degrees. You could be eligible for funding to help you study.


Childcare Support
Funding which will enable you to do a college course without having to incur costs for childcare
