Having effective and well-maintained drinks dispense equipment is vital to the beverage industry and the provision of excellent customer service to clients.
The drinks dispense academy – at the Paget Road campus, in Compton – is used by employers in the industry to train staff to install and maintain dispensing equipment in pubs, clubs, cafes, theatres and sports stadia.
The academy is equipped with:
- Working cellar
- Beer pulls and pumps
- Drinks coolers
- Soft drinks dispense equipment
Training is provided through an 18-month drinks dispense technician apprenticeship and the college is currently training staff working for a number of international drinks giants, dispense service companies and drinks wholesalers, including:

- Innserve Ltd
- LWC Drinks Ltd
