A member of staff from City of Wolverhampton College beat off tough competition from over 500 runners to be first across the line in a charity fun run.

Bradley Hughes, aged 21, a supervisor in the college’s Student Hub, came first in the Pretty Muddy Race for Life at Weston Park on October 30.

A team of seven staff from a range of departments the college took part in the event – raising over £1,000 – with Bradley completing the course in just 26 minutes.

Bradley said: “The course was super-muddy but it was a really fun event and I was proud to be part of the college team raising money for such a good cause.”

Bradley was joined at the run by colleagues Helen Fellows, Luke Foster, Jodie Hathaway, Danielle Jones, Gurinder Rai and Asha Sahota.
