People who want to improve their skills and job prospects can find out about courses starting at City of Wolverhampton College in the new year at an open day next month.
The college’s campuses at Paget Road in Compton and Wellington Road in Bilston will be open on Saturday 14 January 2023, 10am to 2pm, for people to enrol for part-time courses starting during the month.
Visitors can also apply for full-time courses and university-level higher education programmes starting in September 2023 and get details of apprenticeship opportunities with employers in the local area.
Those attending will be able to talk to tutors about courses available, tour the campus facilities, take part in activities related to the subject they are interested in studying, and talk to current students about college life; as well as get careers advice and details of financial support to help with college costs.
Parents and carers accompanying students to the event can drop-in to interactive workshops to pick up tips on how to support young people with their learning, including developing positive study habits, revision strategies and time management techniques.
Book a place at the open day here – anyone who pre-books a place and attends the event will be entered into a draw to win an Amazon voucher.
