John Bradford

John Bradford

John was appointed as a governor of City of Wolverhampton College in 2020 and is the Chair of the Audit Committee and a member of the Campus Transformation Oversight Group.

John has undertaken senior leadership, people and change roles in both corporate and retail banking. The last role was as an executive with TSB from 2011 until 2020, helping lead the divestment of TSB from Lloyds and launching TSB as a standalone challenger bank.

Since leaving TSB, John spends his time within the not-for-profit sector. As well as being a governor of the college he is a trustee of three charities, and advisor and board member of his regional Citizens Advice Bureau.

He is delighted to be a governor of the college, and the charity work that he undertakes is centred around helping young people or others fulfil their potential.

Originally from Plymouth, John now lives in Bewdley with his wife and family. Any spare time is spent walking three very energetic dogs, along with his love of rugby, football and US sports.
