Maresha Grewal
Hi I’m Maresha, a sports tutor at the college.
I have a First Class BSc (Hons) in Sports Coaching Science and a Masters of Research in Socio-Cultural Studies of Sport and Exercise.
In addition to my academic studies I have actively worked within the sports industry in a range of settings, more recently as a coach and HE sports researcher.
In the past I have also gained experience as a performance analyst for the Severn Stars netball team and shadow coached the GB Taekwondo Junior Olympic Squad.
Having a passion for sports and desire to share my knowledge is what led me to teaching – I am very competitive and having competed nationally and internationally in Taekwondo as a student-athlete, and now as a tutor, I am able to use my own experiences to support our talented students with time management and juggling of their responsibilities as student-athletes.
