Wendy Harris

Wendy was appointed as Staff Governor in May 2023. She currently works at the College as a Quality Manager. Prior to this, she taught Travel and Tourism for over 16 years.

In her current role, she remains inspired to continually expand her own understanding and skills, engaging with diverse academic resources and collaborating with colleagues, which enables her to stay informed of the latest advancements in education. Her aim is to foster a culture of curiosity and continuous improvement in the College.

Wendy started her working life as an apprentice at Going Places travel agents.

She has two young children and, as her career history suggests, loves to travel.
