20-year-old Ayesha Paul is currently studying for the part-time Level 3 diploma in beauty therapy at the college’s Paget Road campus.

Ayesha, who currently works in retail and attends college two days a week, said: “I already run my own mobile makeup business and came back to college to explore my options and look at what other services I can offer to expand my business.

“I’m learning Swedish body massage, hot stone therapy and Indian head massage, as well as a range of facials including microdermabrasion and anti-aging and rebalancing treatments – and, as soon as I finish my course, I want to be able to start offering these to clients.

“Coming back to college has been good – the tutors make us feel comfortable, and the course is good. I’m really enjoying it and would definitely recommend coming here.”
