Kamal said “The courses that I’ve followed at the City of Wolverhampton College allowed me to improve my knowledge, skills, and English writing. The tutors that followed me throughout my journey were supportive and not judgemental towards my mistakes, which I did 100% appreciate. Instead, they gave me confidence, self-worth and the right amount of knowledge to proceed in my studies. These courses allowed me to gain my first job, which was a massive achievement for my career. It allowed me to develop my practical skills, such as time management, problem-solving, effective communication and active listening, essential in the nursing profession.”

Kamal had this to say about the experience of University “My initial aim is to gain my Adult Nursing degree, which, at this moment in time, I’m in the course. I am enjoying it, even though with the Pandemic restrictions. I’m gaining advanced knowledge around the nursing profession, and I’ve started to observe the patient from a different perspective. I love a registered nurse’s role, dealing with medications and mainly having that genuine, open and professional relationship with the patient. I want to process with further studies, but at the moment, I want to enjoy this ‘Fantastic’ journey that I’ve undertaken.
