FREE training with a guaranteed job interview

We offer a series of free training courses to enable local people to develop the skills and knowledge needed to work in priority sectors across the region and support employers who are looking to recruit staff.

 

The courses are called Into Employment programmes and are developed with employers to ensure you will gain the skills they are looking for. 

Each course covers a range of units specific to the sector area and, on successful completion of the programme, you will be guaranteed an interview with an employer with vacancies.

  • Steps into Work - NHS*

What do the courses contain? 

There are three parts to each course: 

  • Pre-employment skills training and development 
  • Work placement 
  • Guaranteed interview with an employer

These courses are part of the college’s sector-based work academy programme (SWAP) funded by West Midlands Combined Authority (WMCA) to equip local people with the skills needed to work in priority sectors across the region and support employers who are looking to recruit new staff. 

*Please note - this is a standalone course, developed in partnership with The Royal Wolverhampton NHS Trust, and is not part of the WMCA-funded SWAP programme.
